St George's House was everything we needed in order to celebrate my daughters 40th Birthday weekend. Mark was an exceptional host.His customer service skills ensured we had what everything we needed including champagne glasses , small plates and the use of a lovely lounge to celebrate in.Nothing was too much trouble, including trusting us to access the bar and make a note of what we'd used to settle up later.Dominique, helps Mark in the mornings, she's cheerful, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. We all agreed that the breakfast was one of the best we'd had in any B&B/Guest House in the UK.There was a minor cleaning issue with the shower, this was rectified once we'd brought it to Marks attention.If we were to return to the Isles of Wight, I'd definitely want to return to St George's. - Julie Antha
The place is clean, close to the beach, and a very quiet, peaceful house. My daughters enjoyed the wonderful breakfast.Many thanks to Dom and Mark for being such wonderful hosts. You made our stay comfortable. - c
We have just returned home after a wonderful stay at St George’s House Hotel, and we already miss it.From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The owners are some of the kindest and most caring people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were always happy to help with advice and recommendations for places to visit on the island.A special thank you to the lovely lady who served breakfast every morning. She was so warm, friendly and welcoming that she made us feel like part of the family. Every morning started with a smile.The breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of choice, and everything was freshly prepared. The hotel itself was clean, peaceful, cosy and had such a relaxing atmosphere that it truly felt like home.We were genuinely sad to leave today. It is rare to find a place where the people make such a difference to your holiday, but everyone here did exactly that.If we ever return to the Isle of Wight, we wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else. Thank you for making our holiday so special.Highly recommended! - M
